"Doing that scrapbook thing ..."

Ginger, a colourful, high energy band formed in 1974 was inspired by the ‘Glam Rock’ wave emanating from the UK.

They signed to Polydor  and released two tracks –‘Good Time Fanny’ and ‘Get Back Mamma’.

Their stage antics, extravagant costumes not to mention a sexy female lead singer combined to make the band very popular on the live circuit
resulting in tours which stretched from Sydney to Perth.

Members included Chris Brockbank, Michel Brouet, Richard McDonald, Matt Hughes and Robbie Harris.
